Evidence Custodian / Training Coordinator
Sgt. Pellerin started his law enforcement career in 1996 with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office and joined the Broussard Police Department in 2007. Sgt. Pellerin spent nine years as a narcotics agent and has been involved in evidence procedures since 2001. Sgt. Pellerin has been a P.O.S.T. firearms instructor since 2004 and he is also certified with the NRA as a handgun, shotgun and patrol rifle instructor. Sgt. Pellerin holds several instructor badges to include first aid and CPR, LIDAR, and Active Shooter.
Sgt. Pellerin is the Broussard Police Department's Evidence Custodian and responsible for the security and tracking of evidence and all in-car camera recordings. He is also the training coordinator for the Broussard Police Department's employees.
Sgt. Pellerin also coordinates off-duty security for any events in the City of Broussard.
